This is the beginning

My first blog post! Whoa!

It’s been a terrifying thing to build a website and make this author thing official. I’ve always been much more of a dreamer than a doer, so doing this is definitely outside of my comfort zone. But if there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s that dreaming only gets you so far. Eventually, you have to take the leap if you really want the thing you dream of.

So, I guess this is my leap!

I’m in a little bit of a holding pattern at the moment while On the Dotted Line is finishing up with the publication process, but I am so excited to get it out into the world. I’m hoping it will be available for purchase this spring. On top of that, my plan is to finish up my current work in progress so that it will be ready for market by June. If that doesn’t happen because I’m currently in the throes of writer’s block? Well…we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it, right?
